**Last Co-Founder Reportedly Departs Elon Musk’s xAI**
Igor Babuschkin, reportedly the last remaining co-founder of Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence venture xAI besides Musk himself, has left the company. His departure signals another significant change in leadership for the rapidly developing AI firm.
Babuschkin, a respected researcher with prior experience at Google DeepMind and OpenAI, was part of the initial core team Musk assembled to launch xAI in July 2023. His exit follows those of several other prominent researchers and co-founders who have also departed xAI since its inception.
The move comes as xAI, aiming to “understand the true nature of the universe,” continues to scale its operations, recently launching its Grok AI model and securing substantial funding.
