**Reddit CEO: Chatbots Not a Traffic Driver for the Platform**

Reddit CEO Steve Huffman recently stated that chatbots have not proven to be a significant source of traffic for the social media platform. Speaking on the integration of AI models, Huffman indicated that while there’s a lot of discussion around AI, particularly large language models and chatbots, their direct impact on bringing users to Reddit has been minimal.

This perspective suggests that Reddit’s strategy, while embracing AI for internal tools and content understanding, does not currently view AI-driven conversational agents as a primary external referral mechanism for its user base.
